When We Live In Chaos

You and I have both done it. When a situation goes awry, we dig in, lean in, and attempt to alter, fix, correct, adjust, and modify. And why? Because we don't like chaos. And yes, sometimes action is required. But wiser is the man who understands that sometimes our attempts are ineffective—that the right action might be a different type of action altogether. Because often, the wrong action only complicates the issue, problem, obstacle, and challenges we face. So today, do "not be afraid." Choose to "trust." Say it to yourself—"I will trust!" For "God is your salvation" and nothing else. He is the only one who saves. That's his job. It's his title. It's his action. Let him do it and stop getting in his way.

"Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and will not be afraid"—Isaiah 12:2

DO THIS: Let God save.

PRAY THIS: God, I am not sure what to do or how to do it. Be my savior and my means of salvation.
