"May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.” 1 Romans 15:13

Some days you need a cup of coffee and a cup of hope. And God is eager to fill it for he is hope. And it can overflow in you with "all joy and peace" in your believing. Notice the operative word "in." This emphasizes that hope does not come separate from your belief but rather in your active "believing in God." And for the Christian, this is sustained with a strength that comes from the Holy Spirit which enables the believing so that you may "abound in hope." So today, instead of getting down, fill your cup with hope and believe and abound in hope that comes from God.

PRAYER: God, thanks for being hope, extending hope, and sustaining hope - now help me believe in you the God of hope.
