For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.—Ephesians 2:10

All men will search for understanding, purpose, and identity. But the search requires a less than familiar process. It's not found by human effort in the way many find wealth or power. Rather it's found by going to our Creator and looking down at his hands. By his hands, we were made, and to his hands, we must go. There in his grip, we discover his workmanship. His hands shape us with grace, love, and mercy. In his hands, he creates and prepares us for all our days. The real issue is not finding our purpose, but rather will we walk in the ones he has already prepared?

ASK THIS: What adjustments need to be made to live aligned with God's purpose in your life?

DO THIS: Make the adjustments and live as his workmanship.

PRAY THIS: God, show me your hands. Show me my life. May my heart be submissive to your ways for me all of my life.

PLAY THIS: Ryan Stevenson: With Lifted Hands.
