Worthy Walk

ENGLISH

I therefore, a prisoner for the Lord, urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.—Ephesians 4:1-3

This is our checklist for daily living worthy of our calling. But this calling is really a following. It's following Jesus and others who have gone before us. It is living out God's mission using our talents, abilities, and gifts with the character and virtue of a man of God. We do it with humility, gentleness, and patience sensitive to the Spirit and his guidance, so that love, unity, and peace prevail.

ASK THIS: Do love, unity, and peace prevail in your relationships?

DO THIS: Choose to be humble, gentle, and/or patient today.

PRAY THIS: God, I pray for my relationships today. You know where I need help. May your Spirit within me be strong and sensitive today and nudge me in the humble, gentle, and patient way I should go. May my witness be altered by the character worthy of following you.
