When we need healing, we go to a provider who heals. So at first glance, it appears counterintuitive to go to a man who is wounded. However, in faith, we know that something greater was transpiring on that tree. It was an event of cosmic proportions. A sinless and righteous man was fighting a disease destroying all mankind. One sinless man endured sinful beatings, shameful nudity, and howling accusations till his life was gone. But his life wasn't gone. Instead, something greater was transpiring! His body was fighting a global pandemic—sin. And in his death, his body was fighting a disease that kept us from the healing we all desire. And for proof that it worked—he got up from the grave. So brother, by his wounds you have been healed.
